We do this through instrumentation, computerized analysis, and a variety of muscle testing techniques. Dr. Whittaker has developed this enhanced form of muscle testing and energy balancing through several years of experimentation and application.

The Vital Balance Technique (VBT) primarily utilizes basalt, the densest part of lava rock. Basalt has interesting properties in that it helps to locate and balance areas of weakness or imbalance in the body. It provides focus to better enable the practitioner to magnetically (energetically) bring more balance to that body part. By using multiple lava rocks, we can gain a better understanding of the causes of the imbalance.

VBT gives greater accuracy and usefulness to a variety of energy balancing techniques. For instance…
NAET / allergy treatment – Dr. Whittaker has found that allergies are not always generalized throughout the body. Sensitivities can be specific to a particular organ, system or body part. VBT helps to determine where we need to focus the allergy treatment.
Emotion Code/Body Code – VBT can help us to focus more effectively on particular parts of the body, including dysfunctional communication between body parts. These energy balancing techniques can then be applied more specifically to the areas in need of treatment.
While needles are more effective in balancing multiple acupuncture points, lava rocks can be used in place of needles for a quick convenient method of balancing one or two acupuncture points in the course of treatment.
