Prenatal, Pregnancy and Postnatal Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic care can be incredibly beneficial for pregnant moms before, during, and after labor, as it helps maintain proper spinal alignment, which can alleviate stress on the body. Before labor, chiropractic adjustments can reduce discomfort, improve posture, and enhance the body’s overall function, preparing it for a smoother delivery. During labor, chiropractic care helps optimize pelvic alignment, which may promote easier positioning of the baby, potentially leading to a faster and less painful birth. After labor, chiropractic adjustments can assist in recovery, easing back pain and restoring proper spinal alignment, which helps the mother regain balance and function more quickly. Additionally, chiropractic care can benefit the baby by encouraging optimal positioning for birth, which may reduce complications and support healthier development.

Post-natal Care
In many cases, our Doctors recommend being seen as close to the birth as possible. In some cases, Moms will stop by the office on the way home from the hospital or birth center to have both mom and baby adjusted. Postnatal care can help with the following:
Mom
- Low back pain
- Mid and upper back pain to help with nursing posture
- Hip pain
Baby
- Turning head equally to both sides, this can help with nursing equally on both breasts
- (We've noticed the baby's shoulder tightness can play a role in this)
- Digestion issues
- Sleeping
- Colic
- Allergies
- Hip movement and development
- Neurological integration to new sensations to life outside of the womb
